a sore finger
why can’t gretl sing in the sound of music? because she’s got a sore finger… ain’t that funny? but it’s last night i realized how a sore finger could affect ME! well, you see, we had visitors from lipa last night. they and my parents talked about… as usual… business. then after they went, mama told me to lock the door at the ‘goji room’ (our sort of office). being the obedient (uhoho!) daughter that i am, i did as i was told. but lo and behold! when i tried to close the said door, my finger — specifically my left thumb — got caught on the slamming door (one big ouch)!!!!
and now, my thumb is painfully sore… :’c… waaaaahhhhh! and it really affects my daily activities. i can’t even tie a good knot because of my sore thumb (you try it… it’s hard)… i can’t play the piano as well as before! isn’t that sad?!?
anyway, i realized last night i really have to find a summer job (ang labo ko! anong connect?!?)… yeah, really. i’ll have my braces on the 15th of april and my parents would be spending money (again) for me… well i have to get some money of my own somehow…. at least to be able to lend my parents some money if they need it (not for the braces coz that is sooooo expensive!)…
well…. nothing much has happened to me… all i do this summer are eat, sleep, watch the telly, go on line, go to sm and eat again… and oh, of course i go to mass every sunday! well, i teach my little sister some piano but then, so far, this summer vacation has been sooooooo boring! well, if someone out there (you know who you are) would even care to e mail me or make me a testi for me perhaps, then my summer won’t be so boring! i mean, it’s been a month since he last informed me he’s still existing!!!!!
i mean, is he numb or something?!? hello!!! but then again, my world still spins without him! wahahaha! i mean, i’ve got life buddy! and i’m actually doing just fine… (only it’s sooo boring)… but the heck! i go to sm, i watch the sound of music, i have a friend from malaysia, japan, austria, indonesia, the philippines of course, i go to mass and got to see sotz the other sunday (wahahaha!!! he actually asked me how i was doing!!!*wink!*)…. what more could i ask for?
well, i guess the cure for boredom is a summer job… so i gotta go and think of something! =)
